Buttered Chicken (Recipe)
Ingredients
1 kilo Chicken
2 tablespoons Butter
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
3 teaspoons Salt
1 piece Scrambled egg
7 tablespoons Cornstarch
Cooking oil
Procedure:
1. Make sure that the chicken is properly wash with a bit of salt and rinse it with water. Dry the chicken or drain totally the water for a better result.
2. Put the chicken in a bowl or container and start to pour or mix the other ingredients such as the SALT, GARLIC POWDER, BLACK PEPPER POWDER. Then mix well everything.
3. After putting all the spices, add the SCRAMBLED EGG and mix again.
4. Once you are done mixing everything. Start now the coating simply just pouring the CORN STARCH gradually until all the chicken is finely coated.
5. Prepare your frying pan with enough COOKING OIL and make it hot. Once hot you, start to fry everything and just estimate the cooking time and make sure it’s well cook.
6. Put the fried chicken in a separate dish and prepare another frying pan, make it hot then melt the BUTTER and pour the fried chicken into it. Just make sure that the fried chicken will be coated with the butter fairly.
7. And after cooking with the butter, BUTTERED CHICKEN is now ready to serve.

Chicken Binakol
Chicken Binakol Recipe, in Batangas they used the famous Batangas native chicken for their Chicken binakol and was cooked in a bamboo tube to seal in the juices. In the Visayas Region their version of Chicken Binakol is to simmer the chicken with tanglad in the coconut shell itself.
Estimated preparation and cooking time: 1 hour and 40 minutes

What I Needed Most...

A college friend suddenly called me on my phone. I was surprised to receive a call from her since for the past two years we have not talked in person or on the phone.
We talked about career and love. Well, most of the conversation was actually about her and not much about me. For that moment, I was again in the position of a listening friend - a support. But, surprisingly, I did not fee what I felt the other night. The conversation I had with her was, I realized, comforting.
All day I felt sad and unimportant, my morale was at its deepest but the one-hour call from a friend changed my mood. Interestingly, she does not know what she did to me. She does not know how thankful I am she called me.
That call may be very ordinary to her but to me, it was at that moment, what I needed most.

Why is it when everybody is busy, I suddenly feel sad?
People can be extremely happy or extremely sad and in that occasion I just instantly feel pitiful of myself. I hate it when I am angry and don’t know where to rant, yes. I hate it when I cannot control my feelings.
In my normal days, I am fully aware of the things I am doing and how I feel. Normally, I quite understand others’ feelings when they are mad or hurt or when they are in blithe. A support is always what I am.
Well, it is a good role in this world, the one who is behind the people who are in sorrow and not the one who always cries. But, I realized it is more saddening when suddenly you just feel the pain of needing a support as well – and you don’t know anymore where to look if you feel you’re last in the line of supports.
It is so difficult to be so understanding.
